Stop looking for something that's been there all along.

Singapore and Malaysia quite near what! Twelve months ago, on the 'sky-garden' (if that's what you call it) of Forfar Heights, Strathmore Avenue, Venessa Abigail Ho of Queenstown, and yours truly both made a decision that has since changed our lives for the better.

Narrative voice aside, we got together.

It was really really funny how we met online and clicked almost spontaneously.

Going online and receiving texts were never the same again.

So excited I tell you! :D

exactly my reaction when I found out I could actually update. I almost forgot what it feels like to blog.. baby thanks for reminding me. :) You too, lynn!

Just realised I've been blogging once a month for this year, up till May and stopped ever since. If you're wondering, we're two months away from our one year anniversary :)

Life has been great, pretty routine-ish - but always awesome. Abby and I have been seeing each other once a month, on an average la. We've been places, seen faces, but we can't beat time - when it races looollowthrhyme some rhyme.

But yeah, we're a lot lot lot lottttttt stronger now. :) He's with us all the way.

It has been an awesome 10 months and I can't wait till we see each other again.. 12 more days. :)

It wasn't easy la.. n I know this isn't anything special but because of you this, and many other things in my life were made possible. This is for you :) I love you.

Okay, the frequency of me blogging has reduce tremendously, and there is a reason. I have a crucial sem. Seriously. Cannot afford to fail a single paper and it doesn't help with a lecturer that comes in on Day 1 to tell you that the passing rate is an average of 50% of the class. Haha shocked leh to see me blogging again. I'm pretty shocked too.
What's more important though, is why I'm still doing this. There are many reasons.. but on top of the list would be you. :) To the other readers, don't perasan! Only she will get it - yeah you guys out there, I'm straight just for the record ._.

Having read a few blogs, maybe I have been affected or influenced.. it's no surprise since the three biggest things that influence you in life are what you read, what you see and who you mix with. And to have realised I'm infected, I mean, affected - isn't quite enough, I have to fix this.

You're watching any musical. ANY. Unless you hate music or you have disabilities, it's almost impossible for you to NOT tap your feet, feel like moving and grooving to the tunes of the musical. I don't think it's the butterfly effect - maybe it's the optical effect.. since what you see is what you want to do.

My point is. This year - nope, this day - shall be pinned. and 365 days from now I'll come back and realise for ONCE, what I say - will actually be done.

No it's not resolutions for the new year. It's just a bad habit I need to kick, if I ever want things to fall back into place.

I'm in an awfully awkward position actually. I have freedom. I don't have money. I have a job (sort of). I don't have time. I have holidays. I don't have a great time holiday-ing.

Just got back from the mamma mia movie.. and the funny thing is.. I kinda thought it was pretty good! A lot better than I expected (though Pierce Brosnan really sucks in this flick) - with all the ABBA tracks in this movie, it's a must-go for any die hard ABBA fan out there.

Oh and erh.. wah a bit full though - just had 'the best nasi lemak' at PJ indomee near Shell, old DUMC area.. Yes it was awesome, definitely worth the money - and yes Abby, I won't take so much heaty stuff k~ Just this fried chicken and sambal :P

Still restless as ever.. my biological clock is messed up, thoughts as well, is my life going to follow suit..?

Growing up with a dad who loved music so much he would dominate the in-car audio player, it's no wonder why there was always noise whenever the player was turned on. No it wasn't coming from the player.

I was ruthless, wild and had the word 'rebel' written all over my body like a tattoo.

He wasn't too shabby either - bandana hanging, scarred face, well-groomed with The Avalon *Zohan inside joke* and a pair of bell bottoms just to prove that the 80s still kicked some serious azz.

Ah. Those were definitely the days. The days where Backstreet Boys, N'Sync and 98 Degrees ruled the bubblegum pop generation. This is a battle : clubbing vs dancing.

I don't know what a clubber's life is like. But being as neutral as I can be (though I freaking love to jump around, shake a.k.a. goyang or shuffle or try and fail at dancing) I hope to gain some insight from the comments you guys will shower at me. Here goes!

Clubbing is just a night out, having an awesome time with your friends and also a great opportunity to meet new people - that is, if you don't get wasted. Also, a great opportunity to venture with your new buddies - vodka and whiskey :D Not your taste nvm.. there's cocktails.. So all in all it IS just a night to socialize, meet up with friends and party party party! Oh and how could I miss out on sightseeing! Don't deny the fact that tops the 'reasons-to-go-clubbing-list' of yours is to check out those hotties!

Dancing, on the other hand, is an expression itself. Can be done anywhere, anytime, with anyone or even alone! It's probably done best when spontaneous - in response to the music you're listening to, regardless of whatever dance background you came from - latin, hip hop, contemporary, jazz, street dancing etc. The stereotypical asian statement - "I can't dance la" is nothing more than a humble expression, cuz it takes two to dance. Two feet that is. Two elements - the music and you. So you think you can dance? lol everyone can dance it's a matter of whether you want to or not.

And now the question beckons.

Since a club plays music and there's alcohol as an extra incentive - why do people just stop and stare? WHY ._.

You know. I didn't bother about the last one held in Athens, and perhaps it would be the same plans this year! Yay! Don't give no hoots about it!

But no. TV was on during dinner and somehow there was this celebration feeling pounding within me. maybe it was because of Argentina's lucky win over Ivory Coast yesterday.. then again there was nothing better to watch on the idiot box..

Honestly the opening ceremony started off with flying colours, literally. It is a continuous rush of adrenaline. Note : is - because it doesn't stop there. It's like watching The Dark Knight or V For Vendetta - as the clues and storyline unfold so does your heartrate and that curiosity is sharpening its knife to stab you like it did to the cat wth?

Anyways. Watching it was exhilarating enough - so much my breath was exhilaratingly trying to escape from me! in a nutshell...

I wouldn't have known who she is until the p24 dance marathon held at HELP university college some time ago.. Cecilia, better yet known as C.C. on So You Think You Can Dance [SYTYCD] (Malaysia) - a student of HELP itself (YEAH HELP STUDENTS ROCK) and a proud national latin dancer! Blew you away didn't it, sure did for me.

Anyways, I never watched SYTYCD until the finale but the fact that CC was in the top 20 and now top 4! Now that's something wei! perhaps it's nothing for her, national latin dancer ma.. but what really sent chills down my spine was this..

#4. That's four accidents in 2 years.

Well they're still considered accidents cuz they occurred by accident which happens to be my negligence when using the car.

Argh it really sucks to clean up this mess. Still having a bit of trouble to sink this awareness into my head.. trying to engrave it so I'll never screw up again..

For those of you wondering - I'm a pretty safe driver, but I have once in a blue moon subliminal loss of consciousness syndrome.

Well, thank God I've never got anyone injured in those accidents and thank God for cushioning the screwing - more importantly, thanks for resolving it in, probably the best manner yet.

Actually I need to. THIS IS AN OUTRAGE! I could not blog at ALL yesterday. Think about the students, the employees and employers who are burned out by their weekly 9-5 weekday schedules - hoping to just have a relaxing time, lounging over the world wide web.. ONLY to face more frustration caused by the one and only STREAMYX.

I shall not go on ranting - so let's try something more productive. If you agree that they've been messing with us, their (no choice but to be) loyal customers..

I thought I could use a little reality check and the world could use a little update coming from my side of the earth..

Just completed my G-Clamp and the report..it's been an 8-week project and thank God we're over with.. and there's a maths test next week which I'm so unprepared for.

Sigh. they're leaving. again.

it really sucks to know the greatest things in life last for the shortest time ever.

just got down the hill with Chong and gang.. updates coming up soon..

and I swear it was the time of my life.

going somewhere far. getting away from it all. why does it feel SO good?
seriously why why why. I need to know.
spending great time with friends - both old and new.

perhaps that's the life I really want.

Remember that magazine you read while you were waiting for your turn at the clinic?

Remember that copy of The Sun you took while you got off the LRT that you eventually read?

Remember that flier that promoter handed to you which you read - and then threw into the bin?

Or how about that email you just read - "Fwd: If you're really my friend, pass this on.."

Whatever that was, it didn't take long till it hit me that I'm INNIT. You are too!

It could be the reason behind the creation of Innit itself... - you see, that magazine, that copy of The Sun, that flier and that email.. they all have one thing in common - information.

It doesn't matter what form it comes in, somehow or another, it got to us! A friend of mine, Jason, once said - who you are is determined by the books you read, the movies you watch and the people you meet. *basically the information you receive..

Having that thought digested, it should be evident that we, bloggers, who have our own network of friends - are inevitably part of this cycle of information!

For example, you could be blogging about a new pair of sneakers you REALLLY wanted to get. The next moment there's someone who's looking for sneakers with a nice design who eventually stumbled upon your blog. Now what are the odds of that person buying that sneakers you blogged about just awhile ago? Not too high - but not too low either!

It's because when we post something that people can relate to, they choose to accept that information. Even when people disagree and deny it, it's part of them indefinitely - that article on The Sun that was utter nonsense, that Innit post which deserved a dang or that ridiculous price for the new promotional package of a product - it doesn't matter! The fact that they rant, gossip or talk about it is a mark of their acknowledgment of that piece of info!

It's like dropping a small lit matchstick into a haystack. This chain reaction could make or break, though. I'm sure all of us blog for various reasons - but if your blog could help someone out today, tomorrow or in the near future - better yet, save someone's life.. Wouldn't it be gratifying?

You're acting weird recently, publishing random posts that are so unlike you.. why?

Truth be told, I was honestly inspired by this video - Adjusting The Sails.

I try to blog everyday cuz I'm addicted.

I blog hop more often than I use facebook.

I don't do or understand whatever you just wrote above here.

I eat, sleep and live everyday.

W00T! I hope i'm not the only one who heard the latest news that they're going to zhng our streamyx broadband speed! (sorry maxis people.. you seriously don't know what you're losing out on.)

And surprisingly Streamyx is actually faster than I thought!

Streamyx as in the company not the connection itself! It was rumoured that they would increase from 1Mbps connections to 1.5Mbps!

YAY! Time to get those animes that I've have been catching up with for a loooooooong time..

And there's bound to be skeptics and non-believers out there.. oh yeah? check this out - photographic evidence of my brand new 1.5 Mbps connection!

WTF WHO AM I KIDDING?! DON'T MESS WITH US, STREAMYX! 1.5 Mbps? More like -1.5 Mbps man! It took me an HOUR to send a 6Mb song to my friend! So that's like about 100kb PER MINUTE? 1.sumthing kb/s?!?!

Mind you this lag-athon has occurred since yesterday evening! Now it's obviously NOT laziness that killed the bloggers!

1. Build your reputation to eventually become someone like Kenny, Ringo or Joyce! Of course it's not easy, but God made everyone special in a different way, you just probably haven't realised it yet.

Okay fine maybe you already know how special you are but

It's true lor. Gotta put that uniqueness of yours to good use! Let's say you're sarcastic by nature - you just need to blog the way you talk/express your sarcasm and it should work some mojo! 2. Okay now that I've got your attention - you should NOT try too hard to get your hits! I mean blogging is a form of self-expression. Why blog just to become a 'pro blogger'? There is so much more to blogging than just being known for your blogging. After having this blog for a few years but only to become a bit more active blogging this year has taught me some stuff.

People DO read your blog. Even if it's mouldy. With dust and cobwebs. wth? No seriously, people DO read your blog because these people actually care for you and but they can't be possibly calling you every week to ask how you're doing right? 3. This may sound like a rant, but I recall Kenny stating the reason for starting his blog was for self-discovery. Beyond the earnings and the unique visitors and hits, blogging has allowed us to experience different parts of life never before ventured.

These are Kustom skateboarding shoes, a brand related to Billabong (ah.. that's why la so expensive). I freaking want them!

Skateboarding shoes actually have a reason to be so pricey - there's a lot of technology involved.. since skateboarders land after completing a trick in all sorts of directions, the shoes must be designed to cater the needs of these dudes! They actually have internal lacing, meaning the lace does not only go around the outside, but on the inside as well!

Yet another Nuffnang event! But this was my first ever blogger event (MOH didn't count since most of the people there were from Hong Leong) so it was quite an awesome experience for me!

This backdating habit of mine has got to be backdated.. so teruk I think the food in the pictures also rot already.. anyways, it was really really awesome because it was my first time attending a Nuffnang event, so yeah.. didn't know what to expect.. except fun! It was purely that seriously..

So my mom offered to fetch Kai Xin and I to marriott.. which is why my mom is my hero! She is so darn nice and can actually bare with the mad-almost-an-hour-jam we got stuck in on the way there! Thank you so much momm.

We're being fashionably late as you can tell from the size of the crowd which arrived..

Doors were finally open but we still hung around for more pictures..

This is the only hotel I've been to that has this space like walkway.. reminds me of Genting's hypnotic tunnel.. it was prrreetttyyy.

This picture was absolutely necessary cuz I had to use the toilet, and even the toilet had the wow factor k! This's the ladies' and NO, I DID NOT ENTER THE LADIES TO CAPTURE THIS ONE. Recently Ps. Joshua's messages are related to family and all.. and last weekend was a family outing (damn I don't know how long it's been since we had one) for us.. It was awesomela. Incase you don't know me, trips make me very happy. Really. Had this trip with my family once just a day trip down to klang, then pd, then seremban, then back up to kajang.. dam fun la really.. words can't really describe that kind of excitement but yeaa it's seriously awesome!

Anyways, this trip was a bit different. We actually had to dig up some old books that could be exchanged for entry tickets.. yeah so now you know it's some kinda event.

For every 10 books donated, we're entitled to one entry ticket! These donated books will be given to various charity bodies.. brilliant idea wei!

I used to read a lot when I was a kid, thanks to mom and dad who began with bedtime stories.. which eventually converted me into a Blyton fanatic.. I seriously *hands down* LOVE enid blyton! last time maybe.. but there's just so much memories in these books man..

Among my favourites from Enid Blyton, the Mr. Twiddle series! :D

Though I may have been a fanatic I sure didn't have enough of Mr.Twiddles books to prove I was one.. but seriously.. those were the days.. pardon me , reminiscing a bit here..

And there's this particular book that caught my eye.. I kid you not, this MUST HAVE BEEN THE REASON I'M THE LAMO I AM TODAY.

These books contributed had to be in rather good condition, i.e. readable and not filled with child graffiti (moustached people and stars and scribbles). So I found another book, Princess Shee-Ra or something like that. And when I turned to THIS PAGE...

Shit I can't believe the weekend just flew by. What I thought was 48 hours of madness eventually came to an end.. and thanks to The Star and Kosmo, the perimeter of my parental gravity has just been extended.

Yes. They took away my rave parties. not to mention there's xlive festival @ genting this weekend..

Sorry a bit hyper as you can tell today marks the end of my exams, well not now actually but yeah, in bout 5 more hours. And I'm supposed to collect my tickets to freedom from Sebastian, some dude from Fly FM..

To be honest, it's been quite an exam and it really bothers me to know that it's really almost impossible for me to pass half of the exam papers that I sat for. But what else can I do... sigh.

Sure, there's a lot of other options out there.. but don't forget the conventional parents. Do they really know what goes on inside here?
